Summer holiday fun at the Alan Shearer Centre

Summer montage

The summer holidays are here and we've organised lots of free fun for our members and guests at the Alan Shearer Activity Centre.

Our specialist centre for people with disabilities has a wealth of activities planned each week to help keep everyone occupied during the school holidays.

Outside fun – weather permitting – includes a bird and bug safari, a treasure hunt and outdoor games, but if you're happy to stay indoors, look out for our arts and craft sessions where you could be making a dinosaur or some ocean-themed art.

You can check out all the latest activities by clicking the link to our leaflet on the Activity Centre home page or ring our friendly recreation assistants who will be able to keep you up-to-date and book you on to any of our planned activities.

Most sessions take place between 12 noon and 2pm and you can contact the Centre on 0191 267 8118. We'll see you there!
