St Cuthberts Care has designed a unique oasis of choice in an otherwise limited landscape of facilities in the region for children and adults with sensory, physical and learning disabilities.

The upper floor of the former manor house, now the Alan Shearer Centre, has been converted to provide a unique holiday experience for guests in the care of fully qualified and experienced staff who are on hand to offer 24-hour support.

All domestic needs from meals to high levels of medical care can be catered for in a setting designed specially for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Guests can take advantage of the unique opportunity to access the on-site sensory rooms, hydrotherapy pool, sound and vision suite and take part in organised activities at the Centre.

The Activity Centre

The Activity Centre offers a choice of indoor and outdoor facilities that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, including

• sensory rooms 
• a ball pool
• a hydrotherapy pool  
• sound and vision room
• internet cafe
• woodland walks and much more.

Our pay-as-you-go system means you choose how often to come along.
